Over 100 business representatives attended the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce Regional Networking event, sponsored by NIE Networks, at Hill of the O’Neill, Dungannon last week.
Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Councillor Sean McPeake welcomed delegates to The Hill and emphasised the importance of enterprise in the district. He said:
“Mid Ulster is home to 7,915 small businesses, and outside of Belfast, is the most entrepreneurial region in Northern Ireland in terms of business start-ups. Given this impressive position, and the Council’s ongoing commitment to the economic growth of our district across several core themes, we are incredibly supportive of any initiative which will help to promote and encourage enterprise in our area.”
Delegates also got the chance to hold a Q&A session with Mid Ulster resident Shauna Blair, Founder of successful business Heavenly Tasty Organics Ltd.
